Step 1: We are going to start from the "Home Panel" of the POS.
Step 2: We are going to click on the "Dine In Order" button on the left side of the buttons on screen.
Step 3: Now this screen may look different depending on the layout that your specific restaurant has chosen to use.
Step 4: The part that is important regardless of your chosen layout is the "New Order" button.
Step 5: Once you click on the "New Order" button, a menu will pop up on the screen.
Step 6: We are going to click on the "Dine In Tab" button on the top of the menu.
Step 7: This will bring up the area to create a tab for a customer.
Step 8: In this area, you can enter the customers name or identifying features where it says "Tab Name" (BLUE). Where it shows a Credit Card (RED) you can click on it to either swipe or manually enter the customers Credit Card information.
Step 9: Now all you have to do is click on the "New Order" button to start the order on the customers tab.
