Admin: Loyalty Point Rules
In this article, you will learn how to create Loyalty Point Rules.
- Log in to the admin panel with your email and password.
- At the top of the screen, navigate to System Settings ⇢ Loyalty Point Rules.
- If you have not yet created a loyalty rule, please click the "plus sign" icon to add a new one.
General Settings
- Name: Enter a name for your loyalty program rules.
- Image File: [Optional] Upload an image to represent your loyalty program rules. This is only visible from the admin panel and will not be seen by customers.
- Description: Add a description for an easy overview of your loyalty rules.
- Loyalty Level Required: Select which customer level(s) your rules apply to. By default, they will apply to --ALL LEVELS--.
- Loyalty Points Awarded: Select how many points (1-10 pts) are awarded for every dollar spent.
- Loyalty Max Points Awarded: Set a maximum amount of points that can be awarded. By default, it will be set to 10,000 pts.
- Loyalty Points Expiration: Select if, and when you would like awarded points to expire.
- Minimum Qualifying Purchase: Set the minimum purchase amount required to earn points. Leave this field set to 0.0 if you do not specify another amount.
Time Settings
- No Time Constraints: If you would like to award points during all days/hours, check the box 'No Time Constraints.
- Begin & End Date: Set a begin and end date for your loyalty program to run.
- Begin & End Time: Set a begin and end time for your loyalty program to run.
- Days of Week: Set which days of the week you want your loyalty program to run.
Other Settings
- Status: Mark your loyalty program rules as 'Active' or 'Inactive'. Inactive rules will not award any points.
- Hit 'SAVE' at the bottom of the page to save your loyalty rule.
