Admin: Suggestive Up-Sell
1. Log in to the web admin panel with your username and password.
2. In the navigation bar go to 'System Settings' > 'Suggestive Up-Sell'.
3. Click the green plus sign to add a new suggestive up-sell rule.
Note: The display order of all rules will determine the order in which the suggestions are shown online. By default, the first four qualifying suggestions will show in a pop-up box.
Additionally, there will be a link to view ALL suggestions on one page.
4. Suggest menu items based on cart qualifiers.
YELLOW- Suggestive Up-Sell Information:
- Adjust the name of the rule under 'Name'
- Add a description of the rule details under 'Description'.
- Make sure 'Active' is checked if you would like it to currently be active on your website.
GREEN - "Did Order" Qualifiers
- Define which menu item(s) must be ordered to trigger the suggested item(s).
- Choose the menu item(s) by Menu Group. This qualifier can include 'Any Menu Item' within menu group, or a specific menu item.
- You may EXCLUDE specific items from this set of qualifiers.
RED- "Did Not Order" Qualifiers
- Define which un-ordered menu item(s) should trigger the suggested item(s).
- Choose the menu item(s) by Menu Group. This qualifier can include 'Any Menu Item' within menu group, or a specific menu item.
- You may EXCLUDE specific items from this set of qualifiers.
PURPLE- Suggested Menu Items
Define which menu item(s) you would like to suggest to the customer based on their ordered items.
Note: The order of the items will determine the order they are shown online.
5. Make sure to hit 'Save' at the bottom of the page.
