Admin: Franchise/Multi Unit Setup & Functionality

Precision Software Innovations supports parent/child relationships for franchise or multi-unit businesses. This update allows expedited and ease of use changes across multiple stores from a centralized platform.

A parent/child relationship allows a master menu to be shared with all of its children and configuration of this menu at the master, regional, and store levels.

 

Master Menu: All attributes of the menu is available to its children.

Regional Attributes: Currently, we only support pricing and availability attributes.

Store Level Attributes: Pricing, availability, platform support, taxes, and printing override options are available for all menu groups, items, modifier groups, and modifier items.

 

Order of Precedence: 

Regional Pricing > Store Level Pricing > Master Pricing

Regional Availability > Master Availability > Store Level Availability

Store Level Attributes > Master Attributes


 

CREATING REGIONS / REGIONAL PRICING 

      1)      Creating a store region

Click Management -> Store Regions. Only a master (parent) store will have this option available in the navigation bar. Furthermore, it isn’t a requirement to have the name “Master” or “Parent” as the store name.

 






 

 2)      Creating a store region

Enter the name and select the stores you want in the zone. Click the store name text to enable/disable the checkbox for each store.
WARNING – each store could only be associated with 1 region. At this time, the ADMIN doesn’t enforce this policy

 





3)      Regional Pricing

From the master store navigate to the menu items that you want to update. Select the region icon and set the prices accordingly for each zone.
