Kiosk: Important Kiosk Features

 

How to Enable Kiosk

 

1.) On  your POS home screen click on "Station Configuration", the red button

2.) Open the drop down within "Station Configuration" called Dual Screen/Kiosk Setup an check mark "Enable kiosk mode" and hit save

3.) Once back to the main POS screen and reclick "Station Configuration" and click "Start customer kiosk mode"

 

Long Press

 

When you long press in the right hand corner of the kiosk, a list appears.

 

In that list you can view version, End User License Agreement, Sync Everything, Check for App Updates, Link to Table, View Station Settings, Stop Customer Kiosk Mode, and Cancel.

 

To Disable Kiosk 

 

1.) Long press the right hand corner on the screen

2.) Scroll to find "Stop customer kiosk mode"

 

To Resync Kiosk

 

1.) Long hold in the right hand corner of the kiosk

2.) Enter access code

3.) "Sync Everything"

 

Link a table

 

1.) Long Press right hand corner

2.) Access code

3.) Click "Link to Table" and choose any table to associate. 

 

Now when you touch the screen, the two options should be "Call for Staff" and "Start New Dine In"

 

Waiting for Order

 

Our Self-Service Kiosk can also allow customers to tell staff they are here and waiting for their order. Once a customer taps on the main screen they can either choose "Start New Dine In", "Start New Takeout", "Waiting For Order".

 

 

"Menu Tab"

In admin you can sort menu groups into different menu tabs for the kiosk.

General

Specials

Catering

Beverages

Starters

Mains & Desserts

 

When you sort the menu groups into menu tabs, resync the device and menu groups will be in there allocated categories

 

 

 Find Bar

 

On the kiosk there is a "Find" bar that makes it easy to find certain items. The list is alphabetized and scrollable.

 

+1 on Menu Item

 

When a customer is ordering a item, in the left hand corner of the image there is a "+1" where they can order multiple of an item, which is up to 9.

 

Suggestive Upsell

 

In admin we can suggest menu items customers did not order.

EX- If a customer orders a pizza and a drink we will suggest apps or starters, like boneless bites or a salad.

 

How suggestive upsell works

If a customer orders this and this, and not this, suggest this.

 

So it could look like this

If a customer orders a pizza but did not order an app, suggest wing bites.

or

If a customer orders salad and pasta but does not order a dessert, suggest brownie a la mode and lemon pie.

 

Inactive Items

 

If a restaurant has an item they serve all year round and they run out of ingredients for the item for one week, we can inactivate an item.

 

When we inactive an item it will still show on the kiosk but it will be grayed out and when a customer tries to order "At this time this item is currently unavailable". 

 

 Force Order to Kitchen

 

If for any reason a cashier needs to force an order to the kitchen they may by long holding the "Submit Order" button and putting in their access code.

 

Payment

 

Customers can either pay with card by inserting or by tap. They can also pay by cash by paying the cashier.

 

Duliplacte Transcations

 

Our kiosks deny customers from doing duplicate transactions. So if someone tries to order the same menu items with the same card, the purchase will be denied.
