POS: Opening a Cash Drawer

Opening a drawer allows you to start accept payments on a station or tablet.  This tutorial will give you the basics of starting a cash drawer.




1) After logging in to the home screen, tap the banking icon on the top bar.


2) Once in the banking menu, tap ACTIVATE/CLOSE DRAWER.


3) A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm activating a cash drawer. Hit OK.


4) Hit the OTHER FUNDS tab if you need to add starting money to the cash drawer. (NOTE: Our current total is $0.00, this may or may not match your store's default settings.)


5) Add in the amount of starting funds in your cash drawer. For our example, we will be using $100.00. Hit OK when done.


6) Ensure your TOTAL FUNDS correctly matches the starting funds located in the drawer. Hit COUNT at the bottom of the page.


7) A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm drawer activation. Hit OK.


8) Either hit print receipt if you would like a copy of the activation, or simply hit done.


9) You have now successfully opened a cash drawer.
